I am the mother of an amazing autistic boy, Filbert. He is 8 years old and I have been reading, attending training and researching since his diagnosis in 2011. We have gone through many therapies and each has taught me different things that have built to where we are now. We are at a place where we are effectively supporting his growth academically, physically, emotionally and socially. I believe that each child can learn and each child deserves that opportunity.
I have a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education with an endorsement in Special Education. I also completed Soma’s 4 day RPM training in April 2016 earning a certificate as an RPM practitioner. I have been teaching my son using RPM since November 2014.
Often for us parents, it is tough to stay on top of it all. Autistic Able’s Rapid Prompting Method (RPM) lesson plans knock one thing off your to-do list.
What we believe
• All children deserve a well-rounded education including Language Arts, Math, Science, History, Geography, Art, Music, and Gross & Fine Motor.
• All children are limitless and capable of great things.
Having lesson plans makes this much easier 🙂
